SDLT cut until 31 March 2021

Today the Chancellor announced that he will cut stamp duty land tax (SDLT) to stimulate the housing market. The threshold will increase from £125,000 to £500,000.

The cut will be temporary until 31 March 2021.

Details are awaited as to exactly what and who will be eligible for this rate and we will update this post when further details are available.
