Property Law

Covering advice and assistance for freeholders and leaseholders, landlords and tenants, commercial property and general property disputes…

Property Law

Our property law solicitors provide property owners, landlords and tenants with sound advice and representation both locally and nationally. Samantha Dawkins has ten years’ experience and in recognition of her achievements she won Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Award 2018 for property litigation and AI Excellence Award of Most Influential Woman in Property Law 2018.

Our property law department offers a variety of funding options. Specific to residential properties, we offer fixed fees for certain ‘straight forward’ possession cases.  This includes assisting Landlords in preparing notices seeking possession based on the ‘no fault’ Section 21 procedure and also Section 8 notices, which are most commonly used for rent arrears.  For those cases that are defended we are able to assist you by way of our hourly rates.  By providing this service, there is greater clarity about the legal fees, which provides reassurance for our clients.

In respect of residential leasehold properties, we offer a fixed fee service for ground rent and service charge arrears for freeholders and managing agents, which includes a lease review, letter of claim, correspondence with the mortgagee and filing the claim with the court to obtain judgment.  There are certain criteria that apply so please contact Samantha Dawkins for further details.

Our services also include telephone assistance for landlords, letting agents and block management companies.
