FLEXIBLE WORKING

Flexible working is a way of arranging work times to suit an employee’s needs. For example having flexible start and finish times, or working from home. All employees have the legal right to ask for flexible working – it is not limited to just parents and carers.

TUPE

TUPE stands for regulations called – Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations. TUPE can be important when the ownership of a business is transferred from one owner to another and can be relevant to any redundancy decisions made before or after the transfer.
