Colin was born in 1954 and educated at Maidstone Grammar School, Chatham House Grammar School and the University of Southampton where he graduated with an LLB(Hons) degree. He has practised as a solicitor since 1978 and been a Partner with the firm since 1982.

Colin trained as a collaborative lawyer with Resolution in December 2008 and is now one of three collaborative lawyers within the firm.

Colin is married with two grown up daughters. In spare time he enjoys competitive sports (in particular running) surfing and loves to spend time listening to all types of music and attending concerts.
